Mountain Walking Holiday Description No superlatives can adequately describe this dramatic area; it HAS to be seen to be believed.

Ancient sandstone buttresses and pinnacles tower above the sheltered shore of Loch Torridon.  Once above the seemingly unassailable walls of rock the views in all directions are unsurpassable.

What, when and how much A choice between Slioch, Beinn Eighe, Liathach and Beinn Alligin, all Munros within easy reach of the hostel, should provide ample challenge for this weekend.(Link to http://www.torridon-mountains.com/ )

Testimonials “The sheer mass of rock towering above us was a little daunting at first but as the path ahead became more obvious I was able to look around at the magnificent scenery.  It was one of the best hill days of my life so I am very grateful to WalkDeeside for showing me the way.”A.H - Ordie

“Having already experienced Alan Melrose’s organisational skills on a successful and enjoyable ascent of Kilimanjaro we signed up to go to Torridon in June 2008.  WalkDeeside didn’t let us down and what looked to be a very challenging 3 days turned out to be testing, highly enjoyable but very do-able, with accommodation at the well run Torridon Hostel providing a cosy and comfortable base for our group.”     M&V.C - Forfar
