Terms & Conditions1 PAYMENTCheques and postal/money orders to be made payable to WalkDeeside Ltd. Reservations are secured on a 25% deposit person/holiday activity up to 4 weeks prior to the holiday/activity start date. Activities booked after this period will require to be paid in full on booking. The deposit will, unfortunately, be forfeited if you do not pay the balance 4 weeks prior to the holiday/activity start date.
2 CANCELLATION POLICYIf YOU cancel - Your deposit will be forfeited on cancellation. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the holiday start date you will be liable for the whole cost. All cancellations should be notified to WalkDeeside Ltd by fax, phone or e-mail at the earliest opportunity. If WE cancel - Due to our failure in attracting the minimum number per holiday at least 3 weeks prior to holiday/activity start date it may be necessary, in certain circumstances, to cancel the holiday. In that case we will offer a full refund or a choice of an alternative holiday.
3 SAFETY AND MEDICALWalkDeeside Ltd has a Health and Safety Policy and a risk assessment procedure and for your own and others safety the following should be adhered to:

4 INSURANCEWalking is an adventurous activity and it is a condition of booking that you understand it carries a small attendant risk. WalkDeeside Ltd has full public liability insurance cover, however, we recommend that you take out normal holiday insurance cover; accident, personal injury, liability, loss of possessions and cancellation or curtailment. Overseas visitors should have the normal insurance to cover repatriation.
5 COMPLAINTSIt is our aim to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday/activity and that you get the maximum benefit and enjoyment from your time with WalkDeeside Ltd. However, if you are dissatisfied in any way with any aspect of the holiday please advise the walk/activity leader at the earliest opportunity. If this is not possible please provide full details of your complaint, in writing, within 14 days of the end of your holiday. Whilst working towards a speedy resolution the complaint will be dealt with according to Scottish Law and custom. Additional Information1 WEATHERThe Scottish weather can be unpredictable, and even though Scotland has a good record, you should still anticipate a wide range of weather conditions. The daily programme will be subject to change after taking into account the expected weather conditions and other factors i.e. land use management.
2 EQUIPMENTFor your enjoyment and everyone's safety it is essential that you come properly equipped with full waterproofs, warm clothing, walking boots, small rucksack to carry picnic lunch, water bottle and flask.
3 GRADES of WALKSAs we get visitors from all backgrounds and fitness levels we can tailor your holiday or activity to suit your individual requirements. The walks range from Easy Walking which will be 3 miles in length on tracks and will take about 3-4 hours through Moderate Walking and Challenging Walking up to Strenuous Walking which will be about |
