DAY 1 - Heathrow to Lima

DAY 2 - Around Lima - an acclimatisation and orientation day

DAY 3 - Lima to Pisco - an afternoon visiting the Ballestas Islands

DAY 4 - Pisco to Nazca - a visit to the intriguing Nazca Lines

DAY 5 - Nazca to Arequipa -

DAY 6 - Arequipa to Cusco - An internal flight to the 'Inca Capital'

DAY 7 - Cusco - a day acclimatising to the altitude before setting out on a 3-day trek from Lares to Ollantaytambo.

DAY 8,9 and 10 - Trekking in the Lares Valley

DAY 11 - A sight seeing day around Ollantaytambo before an evening train to Aqua Calientas

DAY 12 - To Machu Pichu for the exquisite dawn and then return to Ollantaytambo.

DAY 13 - Return to Cusco

DAY 14 - More of Cusco

Day 15 - Internal flight from Cusco to Lima
