WILD DEESIDE WALKING HOLIDAY -

WalkDeeside Ltd are very pleased to present this Wild Walking Holiday where you will be able to explore in detail the beauty, history and the inner workings of the natural beauty that surrounds Royal Deeside.

ITINERARY

Sunday - Arrive at your accommodation and settle in followed by an informal drinks reception at the Loch Kinord Hotel to introduce you to your fellow guests and your guides for the following week.

Monday - A walk enjoying the NATURAL HERITAGE of Royal Deeside. Today we will walk in some of the most scenic areas in one of the National Nature Reserves, now part of the Cairngorms National Park. You will witness the power of the glaciers as they scoured their way down Deeside. It is possible to see Scottish Crossbills, deer, eagles, osprey, black grouse and the quintessential capercaillie, as well as an exciting array of flora.

Tuesday - "WILD DEESIDE!!" Today we will take a walking excursion into the heart of majestic Wild Deeside. We will not use the populated walking routes but we utilise our local knowledge and contacts to take advantage of the less well-known routes, real John Brown country, better for wildlife sightings, tranquillity and a quality walking holiday. (Exact route will be subject to Estate activities)

Wednesday-A sightseeing day to explore the Grampians and the North East of Scotland. The Car Tour will visit historic Braemar including the Royal Highland Games Park, Corgarff Castle, Speyside for lunch. You will then spend an afternoon enjoying the art galleries, distilleries and other quality visitor attractions.

Thursday - Today we will visit the Invercauld Estate. We will discover the workings of a Highland sporting estate first hand and where it matters, on the land itself. You will find out how amidst the heather, grouse moors, Caledonian Pine Forest and the sharp mountain air. Steeped in rich local history, the Estate is a major employer and makes a significant impact on the local economy.

Friday-Depart after a hearty breakfast.
