Yet again, further to the North is wonderful Speyside. The River Spey is fantastic for canoeing or kayaking and also hosts fishing competitions each year. Speyside is also home to the Whisky Trail with many famous distilleries open for public viewing and, not forgetting, the long distance Speyside Way. Aviemore and Glenmore are here also and are popular tourist destinations with many interesting things to see and do.
