Donside.

One Glen further to the North is Donside, a much narrower Glen than Deeside and therefore the River Don, also terminating in Aberdeeen, has a much greater impact on the landscape.

Also known for it's fishing pools it is also home to Billy Connolly, the famous Scottish Comedian, and most of the accommodation here has fantastic views across the river.

Come in August and you will see the Lonach Highland Games, one of the more traditional Games in the area, where you can see the Lonach Highlanders in traditional Highland Dress marching down the Glen.
